Museum ticket
- Vilnius auto museum managed by VšĮ „Technikos istorijos“ (hereinafter – auto museum), legal entity code 306226436, registered at Darius ir Girėno str. 2, Vilnius, LT-02158, can be visited by purchasing a visitor’s ticket. The ticket entitles you to visit Auto Museum exhibitions and museum events.
- Visitors of website automuziejus.lt has oportunity to buy electronic ticket (e-ticker). When purchasing an e-ticket, it is necessary to fill in the contact information correctly – in the specified e-mail address. an electronic ticket will be sent by mail. Tickets to the Auto Museum can also be purchased at the Auto Museum cash desk in cash or with a bank card.
Online payments are made through the Montonio payment gateway. “Montonio” transmits the following Your data to Automuzie: Your e-mail address, order ID, order time, number of purchased tickets, order amount and order payment method. Automuziejus collects the following data from you: name, surname, e-mail address, telephone number, residential address, country. The data you provide is used only for order fulfillment purposes. Without your consent, this data will not be used for other purposes, transferred or sold to third parties unrelated to the provision of our direct services. The basis for the collection and processing of the buyer’s data is the conclusion and execution of the sales contract (for the buyer to purchase tickets and the online store).
- One electronic ticket or ticket purchased at the Automuzieus box office can be used only once. The e-ticket is valid for 30 days from the date of purchase, the ticket purchased at the Automuzieus box office is valid only on the day of purchase. Copying, duplicating, forging or reselling the ticket to third parties is strictly prohibited. It is also forbidden to use or acquire them in any other illegal way. Persons who violate or attempt to violate these prohibitions are liable in accordance with the procedure provided for in the laws of the Republic of Lithuania. Persons using tickets illegally may be prosecuted according to Articles 182, 300 and other articles of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Lithuania. We always report these violations to the police. A person in possession of an illegally purchased ticket may have his right to use the service specified in the ticket revoked.
- Purchased tickets are non-exchangeable and non-refundable, the money for them is not returned, except in cases where the services were not or cannot be provided to visitors due to force majeure circumstances (Article 6.212 d.1 of the Civil Code of the Republic of Lithuania).

- Ticket prices for the Vilnius Auto Museum:
- The price of a standard ticket for an adult is 15 euros.
- The price of a standard ticket with a discount is 9 euros. The reduced price applies to children (from 6 years old), schoolchildren, students, seniors, people with disabilities. It is necessary to present a document confirming the discount at the cash desk.
- Family ticket price: 20 euros (1 adult and 1 child), 30 euros (1 adult and 2 children), 35 euros (2 adults and up to 2 children), 40 euros (2 adults and 3 children), 45 euros (2 adults and 4 children).
- The price of a group ticket for students is 9 euros. At least two teachers must accompany a group of students to the museum. Teachers visit the museum for free.
- The price of a group ticket for adults is 13 euros. Discount applies to groups of 10 or more.
- After purchasing an electronic ticket, it is necessary to save the order confirmation. Upon arrival at the museum, visitors must present a printed or saved ticket order confirmation to the cashier.
- If the visitor purchased a ticket with a discount, it is mandatory to present an identity document or other document confirming the right to a discount to the cashier. In the event that the visitor cannot present the confirming document, he must pay the price difference between the standard ticket price and the discounted ticket price at the Auto Museum box office.
- Vilnius Auto Museum can be visited for free by:
- Children up to 6 years of age;
- Persons over 80 years of age;
- Guides with a valid guide certificate;
- Teachers who have submitted a certificate;
- Museum employees who have submitted a certificate;
- Journalists who have submitted a certificate confirming the status of a journalist;
- Visitors with a POLA card
- Gift cards:
- Gift vouchers can be purchased at the Vilnius Auto Museum cash desk.
- Gift vouchers are valid for 6 months from the date of sale indicated on the receipt.
- Gift vouchers can only be redeemed once.
- Duplicate gift vouchers are not issued, vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash.
- Gift vouchers can be used to purchase Vilnius Auto Museum services and museum souvenirs.
- If the price of the selected services or goods is lower than the amount specified in the coupon, the difference is not refunded.
- After the expiration date of the gift certificate, the gift certificate becomes invalid.
- You can extend the validity of the gift voucher no later than one week before the expiry date.
- You can extend the gift voucher by writing an e-mail. mail address: sveiki@automuziejus.lt or upon arrival at the museum.
- Gift coupon renewal fee – 5 euros. After the extension of the gift certificate, it comes into effect again half a year from the date of extension.
Tours
- Guide service can be purchased at the Vilnius Auto Museum. The price of the service is 80 euros. The entrance ticket to the museum is not included in the price of the guide service and is purchased separately.
- One guide leads an educational tour for a group of up to 25 people. If you are coming to the museum with a group of more than 25 people, please notify us in advance of your visit sveiki@automuziejus.lt. In this way, the visit of a larger group will be coordinated.
- The duration of the tour is 2 hours. During the tour, visitors will learn about the development of global transportation technology and its impact on design, technology and societal change.
- It is necessary to order the guide service in advance by writing an e-mail. by mail: sveiki@automuziejus.lt, indicating the desired arrival date, time and number of persons in the letter.
- Guide services are paid in advance, according to the advance payment invoice provided by VšĮ “Technikos istorije”. Tickets can be paid for on the day of the tour at the museum cash desk in cash or by bank card.
- Guide service can also be purchased online: https://automuziejus.lt/bilietai-internetu/. When purchasing a guide service online, it must be registered at an address sveiki@automuziejus.lt no later than 24 hours before before the start of the tour.
- Vilnius auto museum promotes the education of visitors and provides free guide services twice a week on weekdays. Excursion dates and times are published on the website automuziejus.lt and in the social accounts of the Auto Museum. Guided tours are available on Mondays and Thursdays from 5:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Pre-registration of visitors is required for free excursions, which is published on the website www.automuziejus.lt.
- The ticket price for the free excursion is not included. The visitor must purchase a ticket.
Educations
- Education for schoolchildren of various ages is organized in the Vilnius Auto Museum. Schools are invited to apply Passport of cultureand participate in “I create a museum” educations. The purpose of educations is to increase the cultural awareness of schoolchildren, to familiarize them with the process of creating a real museum, the significance of exhibits for the history and culture of technology, and to give them the opportunity to freely create their own projects in the museum space.
- Educational programs for schoolchildren are carried out even without a Culture Passport. During education, students are encouraged to learn about the history of Lithuania and the world, the development of culture, technology and economy in an innovative way through the context of historical vehicles. Education is adapted to students of various ages.
- Pre-registration by e-mail is required for educational sessions without a Culture Passport. by mail: sveiki@automuziejus.lt. One educator conducts classes for a group of up to 30 students. In the case of a larger group, it is necessary to order the services of two educators. The price of education is 80 euros. The duration of education is 60 minutes. The price of tickets for educational sessions is not included.
- A group of students must be accompanied by at least two accompanying teachers. Teachers visit the Vilnius Auto Museum for free.
Visiting conditions
- Children under the age of 16 can visit the Vilnius Auto Museum only when accompanied by adults.
- Adults accompanying children are responsible for children’s behavior and safety in the museum.
- The following is prohibited in the Vilnius Auto Museum:
- Touch fenced exhibits, climb over protective barriers,
- break and damage movable and immovable property,
- Make noise,
- Visit with pets,
- Visit with food and drinks,
- Access the exhibition with bicycles, rollerblades or skateboards,
- Large handbags, suitcases or backpacks must be left in the lockers of the Vilnius Auto Museum.
- In the Vilnius Auto Museum, you can get into vehicles that are not surrounded by protective barriers.
- Photography and filming for personal use is allowed in the Vilnius Auto Museum.
- Other types of photo or filming sessions must be agreed in advance with the museum administration.
- Visitors who do not follow the rules of the Vilnius Auto Museum may be asked to leave, the money for the ticket will not be refunded.
Museum opening hours
- Vilniaus Automuziejus is open every day, except Tuesdays, from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
- The museum has the right to change the working hours, to close part of the exposition due to renovation works or activities taking place in the museum.
- The Vilnius Auto Museum informs visitors about the expected non-working days by providing information on the museum’s social account @automuziejus, on the website www.automuziejus.lt, and on the Google system about the Vilnius Auto Museum.
Final Provisions
- The visitor who purchased a ticket to the Vilnius Auto Museum online or at the museum ticket office agrees to the rules and conditions of the Vilnius Auto Museum.
- Vilniaus Automuziejus is not responsible for the safety of visitors’ personal belongings.
- Filming and photography can be done in the exhibition, exhibitions and events of the Vilnius Auto Museum. Photos and videos of the events can be placed on the museum’s website, social network accounts and published in the media. If the visitor does not agree to be filmed or photographed, he must immediately notify the person filming or photographing him.
- All disputes arising between the Vilnius Auto Museum and visitors are resolved through negotiations. If it is not possible to resolve the dispute amicably, both parties have the right to apply to the state institution of the relevant area.
